Grand Stage @ Western Market is absolutely enchanting, I love the ballroom.

Record prep: haha got back at hall 6:10. (was still in Starbucks 5:50 ish) and ready to go by 6:30, washed, dressed and made up. Efficiency. damn if dms were that easy.

High Table itself was a little lack luster, but got to know hallmates on my table inc. floormate Amber.

Funny convos with Heather & Tracy from next table as we worried for hallmates who's dresses were bearly there. =P so pok chun

Got back and hea + chat from 10:30-2:15 but still managed to prep Crim and showup at guest lecture =)

love chatting with Elf girls, totally unpretentious amongst ourselves and gag (博进地挞皮 is our motto)

witnessed an embarassing encounter between a chinese male and chinese female on 11th floor resulting in 2 very embarassed and red-faced individuals. =P

heard heather scream like the nth time over the new hot exchange in our hall, and mite i add, the only remotely hot guy.

Crim seminar - JB can be really gag and way better this semester, not that i had her last.

Hea in law li - bump into richard (so wierd ging dai B, pissed off carole's minibus guy near us haha) and then hea with eva. OMG CONGRATULATIONS EVA..haha captured the kodak moment when she opened email!!! ho ging ah

Prep land law and giving up. shit 100 pages from past and coming lectures....deem guy ah.

Hall to me is my floor. I'm not really active in my floor, which is an active one in the first place, but really cherish the random moments/ sightings of ppl whom i could never otherwise have met.

2 things:

i. users around us all the time, one u identify a user, hard to not suspect their actions anymore

ii. omg the funniest line ever "the hills are alive with the smell of kimchee" gag.

many funny things over these past 2 days.

9:30 LRW 5 lecture in rayson huang...omg oj amuses me, his use of words and akwardness...u always wonder how long it'll take the 'nice' teachers to be broken into by the Hk mob. wahaha...A Mak remembers me lor, really funny, he is hilarious ... and so hea...got away with changing classes every other week (hence suprise that he remembers me)

left stuff at law li. but yeah got it back...funny lor, it wasn;t at the office. so went searching for it, saw betty and asked her about it : her response ho funny lor

but yeah within 2 mins she found my stuff lor, even quicker than the other librarian, who originally found it, but put it aside... ho ging ar!

went to HKIA leadership/ recruitment talk today...so many surprises: accidentally sent msg to rebecca's old AA phone 2188 XXXX, then all of a sudden she shows up in front of me...and guess with who!!! DANIEL! (chiseen CU D student 也来!)

bumped into a lot of ppl: edward the other hku scholar (bba law yr 3), my ex-supervisor in AA : lillian who is now one of the HR managers, met the HR department ppl: (Rebecca & Daniel's supervisors: Ah pui and Irene, as well as the new HR senior manager Janet) ...also MT 哥哥 Robin!!! (wah i remember he was really funny in AA already, and in legal department too). Of course saw SUSANNA!!! and also other training department ppl like Wylie. (威李!) (wahahaha AA d ah jie ho ging ar...d social skills, d ba hei and of course mixing with dai lup lor, hor hor... watching ah jie (lillian) socialise with albert chau really funny lor.

never thought the reception would be that funny...but the talk wasn't as good as last yr Dr. Pang!!! (all of a sudden miss all the gag ppl from AA: Liam, Ambrose (haha sorry Bosco!), and even Albert (training dept head).

of course the nice ppl: margaret, neon, and jackson.

a very happy summer indeed.

no more sleep deprivation...i have been scarping 4-6 hours the past 3 weeks, apart from cny and weekends.

not good enough, brain power going down.

so stupid. debate, surprise surprise, overran again due to adjudication...

in the midst of waiting in a bored/ tired and frustrated manner, i forgot about my stuff at law li.

adju end at 11:00 ish so missed my opp to go back...omg. so annoying. better not have lost my shit or else... all hell willl break lose and i just mite kill someone.

funny how everyone thinks i should quit an activity... becoz  it takes so much of my time away... grrr ho fan ar. (typical example today 5 hours... more then i slept which was 4) haha my dad says i should pick up netball again instead... at least i'd be healthier.  or even mooting...aiyah. i just want my sleep back. can no longer tell what is the source of sleep deprivation: work, eca, or tv/facebook to compensate for the lack of a normal life i have.

End of Chinese New Year

Some goods and some bads, finally learning to pick myself up again and stop the defeatism.

Have rejected the exchange offer, but in place, will now go on Project SEE adventure.

First meeting this thursday, and i know to expect a lot of hardwork leading up to it, as well as dire situations in whichever LDC i am assigned.

Lovely dinner with AARK... fun dinner, mo liu conversations make me laugh so much i get stomach cramps. and of course our odd sightings. interesting chats about jobs and job apps, and nice chat with harmon in mtr, when waiting for the others, thx.

Debate Tournament this weekend

Amazed and surprised by how well Joanne and i work together.

means a lot to win against big shots, and to be able to come up with extensions.( a lot picked up from worlds, in fact logic directly torn from worlds debates, and much learnt from buddy albert, in terms of approaching these debates)

joanne is very ging, all the freshamn have improved tremendously. and of course, linda and pokie, always put up quite a solid act.

also nice to see alum: like mc, donna and dorcas. meeting other debaters, and the extra je ne sais quoi factor of debating against unknown opponents who could make or break ure case.

much promise, now the question is how to continue and move on.
